Corporate Tax Rate Debate in Congress Focused on Apple

Corporate income taxes came under fire this week as a Senate panel questioned Apple CEO Tim Cook over the company's avoidance of taxes on profits earned overseas. The hearing by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations came on the heels of a May 21, 2013 Senate report outlining how multinational companies shelter international profits from US taxation.
