We are currently deciding which topics to explore in 2014. You can see the results from our latest reader survey. Given our limited resources and the 1,000+ topics our readers have suggested we explore, choosing will not be easy. We’ll factor in your input and numerous internal considerations which you can read more about on our FAQ page in question #16 "How does ProCon.org select topics?” Thanks again for your helpful suggestions.
Production of a new issue website at ProCon.org cannot begin or be announced as a future topic until the Chairman and the Managing Editor of ProCon.org sign off on the core question (for example, "Should marijuana be a medical option?” or "Is the ACLU good for America?”). The topics above have already met this criteria.
The next step for us is researching and building the site itself. Each standard site takes us over 1,500 hours to build, and micro sites normally take us 300-400 hours.
We update this page from time to time to reflect the most accurate estimates and information that we can provide.
