Stanley F. Shimohara, Board Member



Mr. Shimohara is a tax partner with Sanders Kalvin McMillan Carter, LLP, a CPA firm located in West Los Angeles, which merged with Kallan + Thompson + Logan LLC in 2015. Mr. Shimohara has more than 35 years of experience in providing tax planning and business consultation services.

Prior to joining Sanders Kalvin McMillan Carter, LLP, Mr. Shimohara had been a tax partner with a Big Four accounting firm. Over the years, Stan has provided tax planning and consultation services to businesses ranging in size from Fortune 500 corporations to privately held companies, tax-exempt organizations and private foundations.

Mr. Shimohara has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Loyola Law School, as well as Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts, the California Society of CPA's and the California State Bar Association.
