In order for ProCon.org to build a new website, the topic and core question (and the 1-minute overview for standard sites) must be approved by both the Chairman and Managing Editor. The topics listed above have passed this approval stage.
The next step for us is researching and building the site itself. Each standard site takes us over 1,500 hours to build.  sites take less than 300 hours, and  sites take us about 100 hours.
ProCon.org may sometimes change the estimated launch date due to various considerations. We update this page from time to time to reflect the most accurate estimates and information that we can provide.
