Issues Facing Millenials jointly presented an expert panel discussion on immigration and college affordability titled “Issues Facing Millennials: Listen, Talk, and #JustVote.” It took place on Sep. 22, 2016 at the University of Southern California (USC), and was coordinated in conjunction with our partners: the Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics at USC, Participant Media, TakePart, USC College Democrats, USC College Republicans, and USA Today College. The discussion was moderated by Dan Schnur, Director of the Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics, and featured the incredible speakers shown below.

Participant Media held a #JustVote voter registration drive at this event, and USA Today College livestreamed the discussion. We had more than 50 people attend and more than 5,000 who watched online. Although you did not always agree on the issues we explored, it was a wonderful demonstration of the Desmond Tutu maxim, “Don’t raise your voice; improve your argument.” Photography provided by Steven Jay Photo. Thank you to everyone who participated.
