California Teacher Tenure Laws Ruled Unconstitutional – On June 10, 2014 Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Rolf M. Treu ruled California’s teacher tenure laws unconstitutional. The judge specified that the “last in, first out” rules that allegedly protect “grossly ineffective teachers” prevent students, especially minority and low-income students, from an equal and quality education.
