Differences in Conservative and Liberal Brains

Differences in Conservative and Liberal Brains We added four new studies for a total of 16 peer-reviewed studies that demonstrate how liberals and conservatives have different brain structures, different physiological responses to stimuli, and activate different neural mechanisms when confronted with similar situations. These latest studies report that conservatives have a greater sensitivity to negative stimuli and more activity in the part of the brain that activates for complex social evaluations, while liberals are more focused on advancing positive outcomes and sleep more restlessly with a more bizarre, active dream life.
