Gay Marriage Now Legal in 32 US States – In Oct. 2014, following several federal court decisions, same-sex marriage became legal in a majority of US states for the first time ever. 13 states have legalized gay marriage since Oct. 6: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. 18 states still have gay marriage bans in place.
