Feb. 25, 2015 ProCon.org was referenced by the US Department of Labor (DOL) on Feb. 25, 2015 in the Federal Register (vol. 80, no. 37). DOL’s Wage and Hour Division revised the definition of “spouse” under the Family Medical Leave Act in light of the US Supreme Court’s United States v. Windsor decision, which found section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act to be unconstitutional.
