MLB suspends 13 players for violating league drug policy – 12 players were suspended for 50 games in connection with the Biogenesis anti-aging clinic alleged to have provided performance enhancing drugs. The Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez was banned through the 2014 season for his use and possession of prohibited substances and his attempts to impede the investigation.
