New York becomes 23rd US state to legalize medical marijuana – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed AB 6357 into law, allowing the use of non-smoked medical marijuana to treat conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, cancer, and more. The state has 18 months to establish the medical marijuana program and register dispensing organizations.
