The 9th Cirucit Court

– The 9th Cirucit Court of Appeals denied the U.S.
Government’s request for an “en banc” review (11-judge panel)
of the Raich v. Ashcroft decision, which ruled on 12/16/03
that medical marijuana users (in the seven states in the 9th
circuit jurisdiction that have legalized medical marijuana)
cannot be prosecuted by the federal government so long as they
grow their own or obtain pot from other growers without
