US Supreme Court Strikes Down Law Banning Sale of Violent Video Games to Minors: On June 27, 2011, the US Supreme Court ruled 7-2 in Brown vs. Entertainment Merchants Association that the California law banning the sale of violent video games to minors violated free speech rights.
