Biden Administration to Fund $3.5 Billion in Carbon Dioxide Removal via Direct Air Capture

Part of the 2021 infrastructure bill, the carbon capture plan is part of $6.5 billion promised in the law for carbon management. The initiative will build four carbon capture hubs around the country, which are expected to pull a minimum of one million metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air yearly.
