US Approves First Major American Offshore Wind Project

Vineyard Wind 1, a $2.8 billion project, will have 62 wind turbines. Billions of dollars in savings and a reduction of 1.68 million metric tons of carbon dioxide are expected as the turbines power 400,000 Massachusetts homes per year.
